FAQ

What certifications do you have?

All of our coaches’ certifications can be found on their individual biography pages. At B3, we make sure all our our coaches have the education and the practical experience necessary to help you become the best version of yourself.

Do you train in person?

We certainly do! If you are in the McHenry County Area we would love to meet you in person. Contact us today!

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel any recurring memberships 10 days before your billing date with email notice. 1-1 coaching calls are non refundable and can be rescheduled with 24 hours prior notice, without penalty.

Do you offer any free programs?

We offer a free initial 20 minute strategy session to discuss goals and determine the best route in moving forward. We do not currently offer any free programs, but try to put out a lot of quality, free content via our blog and social media platforms. If you are looking for a taste of what we offer, check us out there.

What’s B3’s training philosophy?

We believe in taking a balanced approach to your health and fitness! We believe that most people need nothing more than the basics, and that sticking to simple (not easy) principles pay off in the long run. We love the way this Tibetan proverb puts it: “Eat half, walk double, laugh triple, and love without limit.”

What kind of equipment do I need at home to attend the live classes?

Our live classes are programmed with the intention that most people at home have minimal equipment available. With that being said, having a light, medium, and heavier option for a kettlebell would be ideal. All the live classes are programmed to use one bell and bodyweight. The coaches are great at helping people modify, but having a couple kettlebells for pressing, squatting, and swinging will be more beneficial.

I don’t want to just do kettlebell classes. Any other forms of training available?

Yes! Our classes follow strictly the kettlebell format, but we offer a barbell program for anyone who wishes to purchase the basic programming option. We also offer 1-1 coaching and can customize a training program for anyone who needs that as well.

I have never used kettlebells, can I take classes?

Ideally a new class member should be familiar with the 2 handed swing, goblet squats, the Turkish get up, pressing, and cleans. We can absolutely schedule a 1-1 call and get anyone comfortable with the basic foundational movements, so they will be comfortable taking the classes.
